Well, it is strange, ok. But...
Why did a person should lose his (and other people's) time to put a fake advert? This is really stupid!!!

Sometimes people confuse the Putty Squad names. It's happened before - they say that they have Putty Squad and it turns out to be Putty.

I think this is worth a shot nonetheless... Asking him how many disks are in the box might help.

Question

Not a bad way of attracting buyer interest, but agree it sounds too coincidental to be true-I thought it'd been pretty much agreed that unless there were any System 3 "leaks", there was definitely no commercial release. Did anyone ever find out from Stuart Campbell of Amiga Power fame, about any possible commercial release-A.P. did a review of the finished game, didn't they?

Stuart Campbell left a few months before Amiga Power reviewed the game. He also said that a huge amount of Amiga stuff was simply taken to the tip when the magazine was shut down so if they had the rarities like Putty Squad, Tilt (Codemasters) etc it's probably rotting away as we speak

Got this email in response. i woudl seem someoen is winding someone up:

Dear Sir,

I own the domain 'partickthistle.co.uk' and it is not
presently in use.

I had no connection with the AmiBench advert, posted by
'nihat@partickthistle.co.uk', which I've had several
enquiries about.

I hope this helps.

Yours sincerely,

James Easton.
