Program not found

Hi.......again

Seems like im posting a prob here every 5 minutes now

Ok,following on from this thread here ,i bought the null modem cable as advised,and also purchased the amiga explorer software.

My cable turned up today,so i set about putting the 25 pin end into my amiga serial pot,and the 9 pin into the pc.

Then i click setup,and it tells me what settings to have the amiga on,then it tells me to type a command into the amiga shell

type SER: to RAM:setup

click ok on the pc,and wait for the next prompt window,from here im told to type into the amiga

RX RAM:setup

i do so,click ok on the pc,and the amiga returns with

DC10 error program not found (or something very similar)

After a few attempts,i convince myself its down to the amiga port settings,so i go to workbench 3.0\prefs\ and all i have is presets,in there i have Epson Q and epson X

no Serial settings to be seen,even when show all files is on there is nothing.

Im really stuck here,as i cant even get them to send files to each other to even set software onto the amiga.

Can anyone help,all i know on the amiga is that its a 1200,2mb ram and an aga graphics chip.

heh,after all the time reading through various posts/guides the serial options were found on the extras disk

But you never know,this post may help someone like me in the future.
