But he does state that his Amiga is in better shape than the one in the image!

If it's in better shape than a brand new A1200 used in advertising, it must be untouched by human hands!

The story behind that negative seems plausible.

There was one auction I won where the kid changed the payment options after I won the auction , he wanted a money order where before personal checks were specifically stated as being ok. If anybody tries to change the setup after an aution is over I just walk away, which is what I did for that auction (I hate buying money orders so I never bid on those auctions that specifically only take them , plus its an added cost and trip to the post office).

What gets me is people are still foolish enough to bid on it! I love the "DO NOT BID ON THIS ITEM" auctions where it's just a ad. Makes me chuckle when someone pops 99p on there!

If he can grab an A1200 off the web, why not an A500? Why no mention of WB? 1.2 or 1.3? Not a clue obviously...

Hell, do make sure to keep your original Amiga stuff!
Who knows what you will get for it in 10 years!
(probably the price of a mid-class TV?)

Eek

Holy Moly!!

I have the exact same boxed version of R-Type in mint condition with the instructions. Mine however is the C64 version. Must be worth £200 then. Woohoo.

Wohoo! I've got the amiga version!

Maybe in 20 years time I'll be a millionaire!

edit

just noticed that the auction is even more of a ripoff, as although it's the full price box, the disk is actually the budget version!
