Pirates! Gold probs

Hi all,

I recently got into WinUAE and think it's brilliant. I'm not well versed in Amiga stuff though and I'm having to figure out a lot of stuff that is probably common knowledge for most here. ;-)

I'm a fan of Pirates and would like to try Pirates! Gold for Amiga as I have a feeling it will be way better than the DOS/Windows versions.

My problem is this:
I insert the (ADF) disks and they show up on my desktop. I click to open them, but both disks show up empty. Directory Opus shows files though and Workbench reports that the disks are both almost full.

So what do I do next? I see no icons and haven't got a clue how to get it running.

You must boot from the adf.

Insert you adf into df0: then start emulation.

If in workbench hit f12, insert adf into df0: then goto misc and hit reset amiga then ok. (you can also reset with CTRL + WINDOW + WINDOW or CTRL + INSERT + HOME)

To swap disks hit f12, goto floppy tab, hit eject on df0: then insert disk 2.

Please have a look at Amiga Guides, Tutorials, FAQ & Programs

Hope this helps & Welcome to EAB
