The Top 50 creative posters

Along with the top 50 posters option, how about a top 50 most replied to threads feature?

So say for example all of Freds threads had received the most replies, he would be top of the list. Maybe this would lead to some more interesting thread ideas (or maybe not)

Every one of my threads just dies after a few hours.... I think the longest thread I had was my welcome thread at Emu-UK, which wasn't even started by me, and no longer exists... *sniff* I'm so unloved

Its still better than those threads that degenerate into PC video card comparisons(!) I'm not sure that "most replied to threads" is a good measure of quality myself

Not true rattus, look at your birthday greetings! I find it can be pretty random at times-some threads you don't expect will go far spark off memories/debates etc., but others you think are "good" might be but won't get as many postings either because of maybe being done before, or where everyone agrees on the topic.

Look at Cody's "All time top 100 Amiga tunes", as an example where some controversial rankings & omissions sparked off the whinging gits like myself!

I'll always recall APFelon's "Rat Problems" with a smile!

Hmm, good point. Maybe a button should automatically be added at the top of every thread so you can click on it if you think the thread to be particularly original.

I also think the Off Topic section shouldnt be included.

a rating system has existed once ago, but not enough members used it to qualify the thread content.

maybe back in v3.
