Wireframe ghost car
I vaguely remember enjoying a racing game that had a 3d wireframe ghost car. I remember the wireframe being orange. I enjoyed the game as it was one of the first racing games that had a ghost car for you to beat your lap times. I recall it was Amiga, but alternatively it might have been PC. Would have been around 1993 or thereabouts.

The first games with beat-the-best-time ghost cars were Hard Drivin'/Race Drivin', but the cars were dithered transparent rather than just being wireframes.
