I wouldn't worry too much about it, they were both released around christmas 1993, I think it was a geographical thing.. or maybe the title screen said Holiday Lemmings '93

Ask the ebay seller if he can snapshot a screengrab of the title!

This is a dilemma I am having, as well. Logic suggests that the two titles are one and the same game. History suggests this, too, since many games have done this very same thing. But the fact is, I have not actually booted the disk inside a Christmas Lemming '9x box, so it may very well have its own unique title screen.

My guess would be that the Euro version would be Holiday Lemmings and the US version Christmas Lemmings. Most likely the title screen is Holiday Lemmings and the box is Christmas Lemmings.

We'll just have to wait until somebody with a boxed original can tell us.

I guess that would be me.

I have a Boxed version identical to the above eBay Auction.

The Box says "Christmas Lemmings".
The Label on the Floppy says "Christmas Lemmings" (Psygnosis 1993).
The Floppy Disk Shows up as "Holiday Lemmings" on Workbench.
The Intro Title says "Holiday Lemmings 1993".

So it's probably the same game that you have out there in the Forgotten World with new packaging for the American Masses (and Canadians too!).

This is great! Yet another mystery resolved! Since most US releases never received proper cracks, it was always hard to say if unique title screens existed (or if other changes existed in the game itself). All we can rely on is originals, so I tip my hat for you checking. Now to fix the HOL entries... (sigh)
