PSPUAE Now working on PSP FW 6.20 + PSPGo
Just thought I would post, I have been working on this most of today and have got it working with PSPGo.
Now I have this working, I want to try and add all versions together, i.e. FameC and normal version. Pointless having to seperate versions. |

That's pretty cool FOL. I've got PSPUAE 0.80 BETA working on my Slim 3000 and it works a LOT better than I thought it was going to.

Which surprises me tbh. I'm using the chickHEN hack for my PSP 3000 is that the only/best one in your opinion FOL?

Were as myself and alexh have better options, as we can flash our phatties as much as we want with what ever we want. This means we have everything from switch on. Having to load a game / demo to get HB working is a pain, but if its all we have, then so be it, . The Pause game function works great, I paused PSPUAE a few times and came back to it later. This makes up for the Save function not working with savestates. |

I can go straight from turning on my PSP to the memory card to loading homebrew as long as I turn on from standby. If I turn on from off then I have to load the chickHEN hack again which takes about 10 seconds more.

just to clarify, you have PSPUAE working on a PSPgo - is this using an exploite like the PSP3000's? |

We are using a new exploit (savegame) for a demo of the game patapon2 to get it working on PSPGo. As its freely available, it won't be patched by sony, until a new firmware comes out. This exploit should work on all PSP's though. PSPUAE looks great on the Go, as the screen is much more vivid and crystal clear. |

Truly sorry Chris, I honestly wish I had the time to help =(
I have always wanted to pick up some PPC ASM too =D Quote:
MagicGate is only any real use for making Magic Memory sticks - I use a 512KB San DISK MSPro with MagicGate to upgrade PSP's stuck on Sony Firmware. The only other *slight* advantage is the access speed of a MagicGate enabled card is *slightly* (and I mean only just so) faster access/loading - in all truth its hardly noticable unless laoding BIG/Large ISO's I hammer a lot of Emulation and PSx titles (files sizes are quite small) so I dont really notice any speed-up or slow-down, Its only on big PSP games that you realize it: i.e - Tekken: Dark Rising being one of them, and when I say realize it.... only just (about 8 second difference loading time). Theres a lot of sellers on fleabay offering a CR5400 complete with 2x 16GB MicroSD transflash cards for as little £56 including postage - thats a bonus! although when they say 32GB its not its 2x 16,000 megabytes = 31.25GB, however when I prepared mine it stated 29GB If I could offer any advice it would be this - Do not buy a CR5400 from www.dealextreme.com: these are fake and do not work. I reported this fact to dealextreme - they said that they would look into it, alas about a month ago a fellow retro-gamer on www.retrogamer.net also got stung by it. I would suggest you put your money in a trusted (and well researched) seller =) *please note the eBay link provided is not my auction and I have not had any dealings or transactions with that seller, so buyer beware.
