Hi!!
I've contacted the WHDload support to know why SF2 doesn't recognize the CD32 pad buttons ( it recognize directions ) .He said to me that the game has a self routine to detect the joypad and the only way to modify this is to rewrite the installer. So for now i think i can't go further...... @Rebel : It seems that those who wants to play it on CD32 just have to plug a Genesis Pad (wich is similar to a Competition Pro Pad but is recognize as a basic 2 button joystick) and it works I've try to fix the CD32 pad bug with SetJoyport with no result cause the game don't use lowlevel.library If Frostwork have a trick to fix this it will be great and he will be the great winner of the champ @Frostwork: Wich version of JST do you use to run SF2????? Cause there's 2 version of JST that run on UAE but not on a real CD32 They're the JST3 and JST4 version of you CD32-444:c/ (don't remind wich version of JST they are..) The ONLY one i've found that is able to run SF2 on UAE and on a real CD32 is the JST 0.8 version ( long search to find this one... ) I don't know if you own it but i think it can perhaps help you to run some other games too.............. Here's a link for it (Really good link this time... ) : http://rochabian.free.fr/JST08.rar Good Luck Frostwork Cya Last edited by Rochabian; 17 March 2005 at 01:41. |

Hi!
As of SF2... Isn't it playable with 1 button only? I'm afraid I can't do anything against the prob! I'm no programmer (yet) and those remapping-tools only do work with stuff which takes use of WB (i.e. multitasking). Please correct me if I'm wrong... I use the jst4, which is the latest version which exists I think (4.8c or similar?). SOTB3 uses this, too and it works on a cd32, so I think this jst-version is OK... SF2 doesn't work from within the menu (probably doesn't like the RAD You have to press two joypad-buttons on bootup (I think PLAY&RED) and the game will (hopefully) load... Jst-starter only didn't work: before I put c:44k and "avail flush" in the script and this worked.... The Tooltypes for jst were s.th. like nocaches novbrmove hdload (may be wrong, as I'm in netcafe and might not remember correctly...) Not 100% but I think the LOWMEM tooltype doesn't work on the CD32... BTW: I'll finish the 888 today, and tomorrow it'll leave here |

LOWMEM tooltype works on the CD32 cause i've tested it successffully with JST 0.8
The startup sequence is just : jst sf2hd LOWMEM and it works great Some games appears to run better with older versions of JST The 0.8 is the older version that i've found (i think the older you have is the 1.1C) Glad to see that CD32-888 will be finish tomorrow, good job, Frostwork |

I've updated the Super Street Fighter 2 ECS CD32 Version
Now it's done with original disks, not cracked ones like my first version It should now works with every character and every stage I've tested the iso on WinUAE and a real CD32, it seems to works fine (i've not tested all the game). So enjoy and let me know if you have trouble with this new release Thanks Here's the link : http://rochabian.free.fr/Super_Street_Fighter_2_ECS_v1.1_by_Rochabian.rar Last edited by Rochabian; 21 March 2005 at 22:28. |

I have made a free artwork with the Front Cover for this version.
One thing: I have got an error when I was playing my 2nd play. But no problem, because now It's more more more stable than last version Yours, |
