I've noticed you only compete in games that you already know. Which is a pity - you're missing out on getting to know some real gems like Zarathrusta.

Minor final change to optimize the special rules (now they're perfect):

If you can't beat level 1 your score is 100k + game score.

Level 2-6 stays level*100k - game score (and getting to the final boss nets another 100k).

There won't be anymore changes and this system can be used for all level-based games where you would normally get more points the more often you die.

600 k - 41660 = 558.340

I never liked Thrust and clones, but I regret missing the Golf round.

Well, maybe we'll have another Golf round in the Knockout.

Managed to beat the game now:

[ Show youtube player ]

700k - 48,720 = 651,280

Didn't avoid enemies so that rexsu stays on top but it didn't work - score was still too low. Well, in the vid you can see I mastered the game and with standard rules I could've easily farmed points here and there to get a higher score than rexsu.

Lowest score wins (while getting as far as possible) is the most fair solution to play this game competitively. So just beat the game again while trying to kill less enemies and lose less lives.

700.000 - 50.790 = 649.210

I think I will leave it with that. Already had some luck in that run.

Congratulations to John4p, eMte & Harry for finishing Toki.
Who will be the next... Lifeschool or LinesMachine?

Very good idea this new system for scores, it could work for many other games.

Here is my new score:
700K - 40.660 = 659.340

Glad you agree!

Outstanding low score - now I have a reason to fire this up again.

Well, I've had several goes at this but, erm, I've totally failed to make it off level one so far. So this, I guess, is the very definition of 'token score'. I'll definitely try again tonight or tomorrow, though.

Well done rexsu on another unbeatable score. I could hope for 35K by the end, but 31k is just ridiculous. How did you manage it? Did you walk under the level 2 boss projectiles? Its another case where recording your long run could have made a great video to watch!

Oops, missed that score by rexsu. Now I'm glad that I didn't have another go this week.

I just can't handle third level!

3 * 100k - 20780 = 279,220

^ Yeah the 3rd level is the trickiest.

Round is over.

With an outstanding low score rexsu takes his next GOLD medal.
In the last hours lifeschool managed to beat the game for the first time with a very low score as well. Thus he takes the SILVER medal which I though was mine already.
So I have to be satisfied with BRONZE.
eMTe and Harry just missed the podium with almost the same score as I.

In the team battle it was very close again: EAB wins 60-58 and leads 8-6 now.

There are two important things to do a highscore with this system.
1) Use the helmets well.
2) Losing lives cleverly!
If you have a place where I can send a video (276Mo) then you will see a game full of surprises
