Not all MODs are compatible with ADoom and DoomAttack, to activate them for example just add in the ToolTypes
-FILE NAMEFILE.WAD

Plutonia Revisited, Plutonia 2 and the others of the site you posted are not compatible with ADoom and DoomAttack, but they are not compatible with the various PC motors I tested. I think you need a specific engine, on the readme I read that you require DOOM2.EXE

I don't believe that, did you update the Tooltypes to use the MOD's?

This map patch claims to give the maps of the original 3 episodes a 10-65% speed up:

DM1OPT.lha

It basically does line of sight optimisations for all the maps. Never had a chance to test it properly myself...

Just tried both with DoomAttack and they look OK to me so far. You are running them with the Plutonia.wad?

Ok James with Plutonia.wad the Mod "Putronia 2" on AMiGA OS works well with "Odamex" while not working ZDoom.

Before I tried Plutonia.wad with ADoom and DoomAttack, but then on the readme of "Putronia 2" I seemed to understand that it needed DOOM2.WAD

No, the readme is quite long and complicated but this is the important part:

[3.2 Source Ports]

When using a source port, one thing is always necessary: select PLUTONIA.WAD as the IWAD.
Using DOOM2.WAD will cause errors during play, or fail to work at all, depending on the engine used.

Okay, thanks, James. with this engine, the audio works.
Thanks also for the info on Plutonia 2, unfortunately when you do not know the language happens to misinterpret

thx, in this version i can hear midi music at least. but i still don't have sound. because of wrong ahi driver i assume.
as far i have read, descent only works with older version 4.x of ahi, hence i have a wrong (newer) version installed.

OK now "Plutonia 2" also works on Adoom and DoomAttack

Then, be careful, each engine requires in the ToolTypes a command that can be different to run Mod, if you want to run "Plutonia 2" for example these are the various settings, see also screenshots:

ADOOM:
FILE=PL2.WAD

DoomAttack:
-FILE=PL2.WAD

Odamex and ZDoom
iwad1=Plutonia.wad
file1=PL2.WAD

unfortunately, adding -FILE=PL2.WAD doesn't work on my doomattack-aio. is there a problem with the scripts files?
do i have to enter it INTO one of the script files? i attach doom2 script file for example... i had to rename it to doom2.txt for uploading it here.
Attached Files
File Type: txt doom2.txt (723 Bytes, 61 views)

No you have to use AfA One

As primary WAD you are using Plutonia.WAD (DOOM2.WAD is not needed)

Leave the script alone, use only the DoomAttack executable and add that command in the icon Toltypes or in DoomAttack prefs add -FILE=PL2.WAD

In the directory you do not have to have DOOM2.VAD "move it" in the folder there must be only PLUTONIA.WAD + PL2.WAD

With ADOM and DoomAttack, see video:

if i move out all .wad files except plutonia.wad and pl2.wad, type "doomattack -FILE=PL2.WAD" into shell, only official plutonia starts, but not plutonia2 mod. same with PRCP.WAD, also only official plutonia starts. and adding -FILE=PL2.WAD as tooltype to plutonia script icon does the same. only official plutonia starts, no mod.

Then the commands given in the Tooltypes are not the same as those used in the script or from a Shell, example DoomAttack:

Icon ToolTyes (only executable no script):
-FILE=PL2.WAD

Script or Comand Shell:
DoomAttack -FILE PL2.WAD

DoomAttack Prefs "Program" (Start Options):
-FILEPL2.WAD

this worked in shell, at least for pl2.wad, thx! so i can now play plutonia 2 mega wad using cli.

if i try plutonia revisited ("DoomAttack -FILE PRCP.WAD"), it quits and displays following error:
