When the countdown ends, there'll be a popup window with Mark Cale face laughing out loud "fooled ya!"

Would this be because of John Twiddy's Track Loader?

I have had problems with games coded by him because of similar issues along with the WHDLoad versions not working either.

Aladdin: TOSEC all versions hang, Unable to test WHDLoad version
Cool Spot: TOSEC All versions hang as does the WHDLoad version
Global Gladiators: TOSEC All versions hang as does the WHDLoad version
Putty Squad Demo: TOSEC Versions hang, Unable to test WHDLoad version.

I've come to the conclusion they don't like when there is a CD0: device present.

At first I thought it was a Virgin Games thing but The Lion King works fine which is not coded by John Twiddy.

Do you think they think that we think that we all want to play putty squad and by releasing it "only" on ps4 right now, that all the putty squad fans will rush out and spend 20 ish quid on a (cough) amiga emulator on the ps4 running PS.

Then after they have sold 5 games and made a profit....

they can give away the amiga version having already made money from the ps4 version?

I cant work out why they are messing around with the flopppy version. Everyone who has an amiga and the internet is capable of sorting out the file themselves.

Just give it to the amiga experts on EAB and everyone will be catered for.

Its very rare for a company to give something away for free, and when they do,

they want you to beg on your knees for the privilege....

I'm just not convinced its happening. If they really did get someone involved outside of System 3 to do it, how come no-one has heard who it is?

Why haven't they announced who is doing it whether it be person or persons?

I just don't believe this could be kept a secret if someone was genuinely working on it, it just doesn't happen, so on that basis, i'm not holding my breath.

Was genuinely excited about the prospect of it being released, but the longer it goes on the more I feel its just publicity for other versions, which is all kinds of a messed up way of dealing with it?!?!

Bah, let the thread die a silent death, along with the chances of this fucking game getting released.

Its quite simple, if it was being done, people would know, information would have leaked, no one can keep anything fucking secret anymore, and here we are. They said they would have news on December 6th, so we got a bit of news, and then weeks go by and nothing happens, because its not going to happen.

Mark my words.... this is bollocks!

EDIT from me 25/12/2013 : System 3 has to be thank warmfully for this. So i'm going to thanks them on the system 3 facebook page.
That's truely awesome

The last big jewel is at last out and released, that's a great gift from John Twiddy, Phil Thornton and Mark Cale.

Jesus Henry Christ, calm down! This doesn't say anything at all. If they release it today, good, if not, who cares? Wouldn't be the first time they didn't keep their promise.

Yeah, I know I know.... but I think chances are now really ~80% that today's the day! Unless System 3 is sadistic and deliberately wants to play this game until the very end. But I think we will see it tonight. 3 ADFs, 3 * 880kb of pure Amiga gaming, directly from Twiddyverse.

Twiddy is probably building it right now. Hook up that old Atari or 286 IBM PC, run SNASM or Psy-Q and then upload that build to the Amiga via a serial cable.
