Means that the book has been on and off so many times that pledging via Kickstarter might be considered risky

Actually I thought that the book was almost finished at some point but apparently it wasn't/isn't.

Pledging on kickstarter is always risky.

Now that Brian B has seen there is the market for new AMIGA material it should get completed. I did enjoy his last book a lot. I wonder if the writers of the TV show "Halt & Catch Fire" read it

I guess it is difficult when you have to get a publisher on-board. Least with Kickstarter it is in his hands so to speak.

I got an email from Amazon the other day, looks like it's back on their pre-order list.

I've backed. Commodore: A company on the edge was a brilliant read despite the fact that i was never a C64 owner. I can't wait for this one - it should be even better. Amiga is still close to my heart even after all these years.

That's good news. When it comes available at Amazon I will buy both Commodore books by Brian.

I've never backed a kickstarter and don't want to start, although this one has certainly been the most tempting.

Already 1/3 of target after 1 hour, not bad

I plonked down also some cash for this, now my name will feature in an extra included thank you page of the book

I'm on the fence with this one; whilst I enjoyed 'A Company on the Edge' I wonder what extra material he'll pick up on than what's already out there in Amiga land.
