Playing Jaguar XJ220 without a floppy drive
Ok fellows, I am asking for help.
All I have is an A600 with 2mb and 68k cpu, no Floppy Drive but I have a Gotek. The game doesn't work with the Gotek+Cortex.. it loads ok, but when I need to swap disks, it doesn't detect disk 2. Running from WHDLOAD with just 2mb is just unpractical. I kid you not, I am already waiting like 20 minutes to get to the menu... the amount of OS Swaps is just unbearable... the Core Design logo was flasing like crazy... I just saw the XJ220 crossing the screen at the intro, and now black/flashing screen again... the game is running already for about 20 minutes indeed and I still couldn't get to the main menu screen. So... does anyone have any other suggestions that doesn't go into the "Get more ram" or "Get the HxC firmware" realms? |
