Speedball 2 from floppy on a A1200?

Hi.

Gonna have a retro event next week and wanted to showcase the classic SB2 as a single floppy 2-player goodness Unfortunately it seems that SB2 does not work on A1200? The game crashes after the "shop". Works the same regardless if the 1230IV has been disabled during boot or not

Anyone have some special version that would run *from floppy* on a A1200? I saw somekind of AGA-fix, but I'm too stupid to understand how it should be applied

There is a fixed version that runs without problems on AGA machines. There is also the CD32 version released on a ADF, you can find them in the usual places.

Thanks ptyerman, I somehow totally forgot about the CD32 version. Works like a charm

This version (CD32 rip without any CD music) needs more than 2Mb chip unfortunatly.

Oh wow. I never figured which of CD32 or A1200 would do it better, now I find out the CD32 was best. Makes sense, I just wasn't sure whether CD32 version was done, or how, or when, or where available.

Now I just GOT to pimp that A1200. More of a reason to, anyway.

A lot of people prefer the metallic colors of the A500 version than the new ones in the AGA release. Personnally i like both, but whatever your opinion about the AGA colors is the new color palette makes the AGA game be more playable since players 1 and 2 can't be confused at all.
