been busy making a Pron story today :)

I finaly got round to doing the slim dvd/cdrw mod on my a1200.

I just need to spray the bezel white.

Stand clear of Zetro!

Along with Velcro.......

Is that plastic standoff stuck to the IC the only thing holding the DVD-RW in place or is it mounted elsewhere (velcro????)

No, its mounted in 2 other places, i stole Zetro's idea of cutting an eraser to size and using that....works a treat!

I guess it will keep vibration down too.

The plastic Clip you see was perfect for the job with a small amount of epoxy.
