Null Modem Cable

Hi Guys,

Went and got my old A500 (kick 1.3, 512Kb + 512Kb trapdoor

) this weekend from my folks and quite fancy trying a few games on it i never got chance to play back in the day.

First things first, i've been reading up on transferring ADF's from my PC to the miggy, now i realise my A500 with not much mem and no HD isn't ideal but I understand it can be done so will this cable on fleabay do the trick?

Yep, that'd do nicely. Just need to get the required software over to the miggy.

Cheers ppill, I was actually thinking of using Hombre as it looks cracking

No doubt I'll have more questions once the cables here and i can't get anything to work

Thought I'd better fire her up last night to test she was still in good order, so plugged everything together and fired her up.

The kickstart disk appeared and my heart jumped a little!

Then proceeded to load workbench, all good, then went to the say utility to test the sound and no sound came out the tv

Realised i'd not plugged the phono sockets on my scart lead into the Amiga

Tried say again and lo and behold my miggy was talking to me again

Now off to order that serial cable!

I use AMiga Explorer with a null modem cable. works pretty well for me!
