MultiCX etc is now freeware (under MIT)

I spoke to Martin Berndt, and while all source code was lost, he was happy to let all his amiga software be under MIT, that is, copyright is still his, but then one can do as they please with it, as long as the license is there and he is attributed.
Should involve:
MultiCX, AmiCDFS, CPUControl, FastMath, Finalwriter patches and maybe some more I missed that was shareware.

Now, why is this nice, the software is out there anyway since 199x? Well, it is always nicer if the author of the software clearly endorses the usage of their software. Also, a clear status of it allows for re-disassambling of the source etc should one want to, and also that the full version (yeah, the tooltype hack of MultiCx can be uploaded to aminet.

That's amazing news, very sound of him Shame the source is gone, would have been great to update it to recognise 3.5 and 3.9.
