Advice for an Amiga Hardware n00b

I've been playing with emulation and considering buying an Amiga 1200 in order to stick an SD card in the PCMCIA and wondered exactly what I needed to use whdload on an SD card? I think I read I need extra RAM but forget exactly how much. How available is RAM for the 1200 if I buy one with less RAM on ebay?

Cool, nothing is better than the REAL thing.

(and a Real WHDLOAD key, please support Bert jahn, the maker of WHDLOAD.. just 20 euro for thousand hours of work )

For the Ram; you can use a bare bone A-1200
but thatīs not much fun with WHDLOAD.
4MB or better 8MB would be cool.

Amigakit UK have all you need. The have ram, turbo cards, adapters .. ect. ect..
all you need
