i gave it a very quick go last night on my standard e-uae setup, and encountered no problems.... hardly enough to justify proper testing however. Looking good though Girv.
*cough* dual button support mapped to 'up' */cough* |

Alien 3 install has readjoypad.s source included
perhaps you can even improve on it? i am a little unsure about the clean-ness with which the megadrive B (i think) button is checked and set... although perhaps it doesnt matter, i would have thought this might cause problems when pressing 2 joypad buttons. (although the odds of checking red/fire etc with that routine are slim - and i think ther would only be a problem with fire+MD 'B') |

What joypad controls do y'all want ?
And what's a good joypad for use on WinUAE ? Preferably one that's cheap and very like the original CD32 one |

i use a PS1/2 USB adaptor... maps up perfectly to the cd32 layout, with two 'bonus' shoulder buttons
what keyboard buttons does the game use Girv? play=pause is always a good start |

I'll check out the PS adaptor thingy, cheers. I have a Competition Pro joypad for the Amiga, but it's never been out of its box until today
Gravity Force uses the following keys:
+ joystick controls, of course. |

you can pick em up for about £8 as i recall... maybe even cheaper.
given those controls, i can only think of suggesting 2nd button for fire and normal for thrust (or is that vice-versa? cant remember - i know it would be like that in GF2/GP!) maybe play to pause with yellow to quit only when paused? (as a sort of 'safety net') that's if you even want to bother with 'full' cd32 controls, and not just 2nd button support. i really should do some work..... |
