[WANTED] Amiga 5 1/4 floopy drive

Looking for a 5 1/4 Amiga drive! I have come into possession of 700+ disks that are Amiga but no drive to read them....could be a few gems in there if I could get a drive!

I've seen a couple on eBay in the last week or so, I don't know if they were in Oz though... It's probably still worth a look.

I guess shipping might be expensive?

Yes one went for $150 in OZ which I consider a tad stupid for an old floppy drive and there is another in the UK at the moment but the guy wants 20 pounds just to ship and is currently at 31 pounds, so at this stage 51 pounds or $123AUS.

I had bid on one for 40 bucks on eBay a while ago but I was low on cash and didn't feel like bidding more. Don't pay more than you have to for one, they're not THAT rare.

You bid quite high on that one didn't you???

You seem like a decent chap, I have one here I can lend you if you want, but I will want it back at some stage.... I haven't used it since the early 90's so perhaps I better check it first.

PM me with your postal address.

I can give 5.25 drive for free in good condition, but I don't know if it's for Amiga or PC (no case).

Well you would be looking at £36 to buy it in the UK. Is it really worth that much to you?. Sounds a lot of money to me.
Have you asked the seller if he`ll ship to Australia??.
