Yep, great advice, works like a charm! I did notice the 'built-in' shortcut, and even checked that it didn't (because it couldn't possibly) work after a reboot; you have to have run it first. Thanks for helping me figure that one out!

If you want an o as-in-the-beginning-of "orange" sound, it's o. "All" pronounced in English is written "ool" in Finnish. Double letter for a long sound. :-)
Us Flemish (the Dutch speaking people in Belgium -- don't ask), have a similar doubling of the vowels for a long sound. Eg, the english 'on' would be a single o, while 'home' would contain a oo. Also, we don't tend to put things on the letter (eg, o, ö, ó, ò or Ø) to change the sound; we'd rather use combinations of existing vowels, like ei, oe, eu and ui. Funny how languages work, isn't it..

Can you map an F-key with it, though? Because I can't seem to do that; only right Amiga-shortcuts, as you've mentioned.

Nope, only what you found. Try the fkey commodity in tools/commodities, I seem to remember that it can do what you want.

Did the USA not get an ANSI keyboard for the A1200? The A500 and A2000 did.

They stopped doing the ANSI thing for wedge Amigas when the A500+ was introduced. The big boxes stopped getting them at around the time when they switched from a full PCB to a small PCB + membrane style keyboard towards the end of the A4000's life.
