By original he simply meant the first game, rather than the second
Could you please upload your cracked copy to the zone? |

okey, i already upped it into your ftp.
if you are using an Amiga, you need to use UnRAR 3.2 for Amiga from official site: http://rarlab.com/rar_add.htm i tried it on real Amiga, and this unpacker works fine! |

i noticed that HOL has more not included games in database.
i cant now remember which ones, but i remember there were not listed games like: - Death Mask II (its pirate enhancemend, like for example New Years Lemmings 92 by Prestige) - Alien Bash 1, 2 (BTTR has it for dw) - Ufo Enemy Unclothed (was on TheZone! some time ago) - ... and more which i cant tell now... |

At the moment the HOL is mainly commercial entries so games like Alien Bash aren't included.
When shareware/freeware games are in the database they are there to form a fuller picture of some commercial company or person (e.g. Cybernetix for Vision Software or the Scorpius shareware games). In some cases they have been included by accident but left in. |

it would be nice to find place where someone could see screenshot of shareware/freeware games, because its hard to find something over the internet.
there is a lot databases with commercial games, but where we can see other ones, in many cases, nice games! |

It'd be great if the HOL included shareware/freeware games too but the reality is that even cataloguing commercial games properly is taking a huge amount of time.
We could add lots of new entries for non-commercial games but then we'd be extended the database instead of enriching it. The existing entries still need a lot of work to add/fix data and screenshots. It's better to concentrate on something more attainable rather than continually 'moving the goalposts'. And non-commercial games are like a bottomless pit, with endless SEUCK clones and games created but never released. Of course, if a group of helpful folks were to grab thousands of PD/shareware/freeware screenshots and info for the HOL that'd be another matter! Last edited by CodyJarrett; 11 March 2005 at 23:16. |

I like those ADFs, as I cannot use a HD version on my real miggy. Liked to check out that one on the real thing. Thanks! Quote:
I ALWAYS enter shareware games if they're good enough, but almost never freeware games. Remember Schelober's Quest for a Babe: it did not just look very professional, it was indeed shortly before the commercial release (but didn't make it). So no "accident". |
