Prime Mover laptimes

I'm really pleased with the game itself, but there's one thing that is rather stupid: the laptimes are calculated in seconds instead of more correct timing . Could there be a fix that would make the laptimes calculated more accurately (as in Super Hang-on)? I'd really enjoy breaking a laprecord a millisecond or so

btw. did i post in the wrong forum? I'm not sure.

I'm guessing not. Changing a built in game timer from seconds to milliseconds is no trivial task.

But you could do it in 50ths of a second...just add a VBlank counter.

Like it's that easy....
First you have to find the timer code, make it count in 50ths of a second. Then find the code that starts and stops it, then change the screen so it is drawing the full lap time rather than just the seconds, then change the end of race status screen to show the full lap times, then probably you want to save them to disk, then...
