Quick FAQ
So what do I have to do to beat each level and open the exit door? - Collect a quota of marbles scattered over the level, until it says OK in the counter at the top of the screen. When all three counters say OK, the exit will open.

What do the coins do? - 100 coins = 1 life.

Is there a time limit? - No.

Are the enemies infinite, or do they stop coming after a while? - The generators spawn 3-5 enemies each, and once the generator is empty, the little light will go out in front of it. The other enemies are fixed, so it's possible to completely clear out a level of all enemies and collectables.

Is there a Boss? - Yes, after all the levels in a world have been completed, a boss screen will appear.

How do I collect the lives I can see above me? - There is usually a way, either by using a nearby trick, a secret platform, or often by looping the level, where you can collect the lives you see.

Do you have a play guide on how to do it? - As it happens, yes. [ Show youtube player ]

Do the wizards on the last levels move at random? - The wizards follow a pattern, so just wait by the point where they despawned and they will return there eventually. I had to learn how to do the wizards the hard way, [ Show youtube player ]

I've beaten the whole game, it took hours!, but my score does not match the world record - Thankfully, as long as you collect 99% of things and destroy every enemy, and reach the end of each level with at least x4 health hearts, then there is a chance to beat my high score. Of course, I tried to beat each level with x5 hearts where possible.

Hello and happy to join the fun.

Edit: Haven't play Ruff 'n' Tumble back in the days (or very little). I am looking forward to improve my score and discover the game more.

Ruff and Timble is a classic, so do spread the word so that we can get a few more players onboard.

I got to the exact same point I died at above with 1 hit point and no remaining lives but managed to get through it. Then I managed to complete 4-2 with 1 hit point and no remaining lives too. But 4-4 wasn't happening, not even with 8 lives.

This round is OVER!

Congratulations and the Amiga World Record goes to.. Bobby Zeal!!
Stalwart veteran John4p gets a well deserved Silver medal.
While former hot shot, lifeschool, crawls in third.
Also well done capehorn with a last effort. 4-4 is a real pain in the bum without savestates (to practice) I guess, although this feels like cheating to me.

1st - BobbyZeal
2nd - john4p
3rd - lifeschool

On to Hole in One.
