Graffiti and indvision ECS

I was wondering can the graffiti component to the Indvision ECS allow you to have a 256 color workbench, or is it just for specific programs that are specially written for the Graffiti.
Thanks

I am trying to get Graffiti to work on my A500 with a indvisionECS ACA500 and ACA1232. I Flashed the indivision ECS to version 1.01, I loaded the config program and set it to 1.25 + graffiti. That seemed to go well. I installed MMUTools and when I boot the computer after the install, when it attempts to load MUfastrom it says please insert Volume Workbench in DH0: If I put a ;before the MMUFastrom command in user-startup Workbench loads fine. (I named my SYS: as Workbench I attempted to install picasso96 on my machine, it states that there is already a picassoII install. (I am trying to install Picasso on a fresh install with AOS3.9 with BB2) No other graffics card is installed. I selected the Graffity mode on the Picasso install. When I reboot the computer it comes up with Devs:monitors not an executable file. When I load PicasssoPrefs there is only a Village64 config. There is no graffiti board to load in. I have always had trouble with Picasso96 I have never been able to install it. I do not know what I am doing wrong each time. Some help would be greatly appreciated. I know it works. A lot of people here use P96. but I just can't ever seem to get it to work.
The link above goes to Picasso96 V 2.0. Where do I get V2.3 - is 2.3 another name for 2.1c?

Has anyone here attempted to use the Picasso Drive with the indivision ECS on an amiga 500? I seed to be able now to get the different screen modes listed when I load the screenmode prefs program, but when I try to test the screen mode, the monitor is unable to sync to it.
