"Zeewolf" and secret missions

My friend told me that he had ripped off the briefings from "Zeewolf" and discovered 3 secret missions. It was a big surprise for me because I've just finished the game few days ago and there was no trace of secret missions.
Anybody knows anything about those missions (especially how to play them)?

Interesting! I hadn't noticed anything myself and I've spent a lot of time in Zeewolf.

Can you post the texts your friend discovered?

Did Zeewolf appear on any other platform other than the Amiga?

Are either of the two games made smoother or faster with a top accelerator?

I don't think it appeared on any other platforms.

An accelerator and some fastram will indeed give a nice speed boost. Best use the WHDLoad version with 020+ as there is self modifying code in the game that causes graphical glitches on higher processors.

Maybe the secret levels aren't activated because some original code in the game is swapped over and Girv's invincibility code needs changing?

It might just be some text relating to an unimplemented part of the game like with Frontier and the bits and pieces people found in its code, there was a fighter launcher and all sorts, wasn't there.

Still... could be there.

I'll try to get some time over the weekend to look into this, but it's a bit of a crazy time so I'm not sure if I'll get to it. If someone fancies coredumping the game and finding the mystery text, post it here (the text, not the coredump!).

The "secret briefings" will be (probably) posted tomorrow.

I've looked at the strings in a Zeewolf memory dump and found the following:

Code:
AP's ("Trucking" - Ed) Great Demo
EEK! It's a big, bad, horrible, hurt-
filled world out there. But you've got
guns. So that's all right then.

AP's TGD - Objectives
Six squaddy pals are having a super
picnic. Spoil their fun.
Murder all enemy foot soldiers.

AP's TGD - Objectives
A convoy is playing unnecessarily loud
music on their car stereos. End their
ceaseless cruising.
Vape all enemy vehicles.

AP's TGD - Objectives
Destroy the enemy's cool-looking planes
in a fit of jealous rage.
Blow up all the planes. With rockets
and stuff, natch.
...and...

Code:
Format'll Jack It! - 1
Our air supremacy has been seriously
compromised by enemy reinforcements.
You must rescue our captured pilots,
protect a damaged plane and regain
command of the air.

Format'll Jack It! - 2
A grounded Kestrel will be overrun
before repairs can be finished: you
must defend it from the advancing
enemy columns.
Protect Kestrel and destroy enemy
vehicles.

Format'll Jack It! - 3
Rescue our downed aircrews, using force
where necessary. Be alert for hostiles.
There are 7 airmen - rescue at least 5.

Format'll Jack It! - 4
Enemy air strength endangers operations
in this area: you must regain command
of the air at all costs.
Destroy all enemy air units.
Are these the briefings your friend is referring to? They are the missions from Amiga Power Issue 44 and Amiga Format Issue 66 coverdisk demos.

I don't know if the mission data itself is still in the game or if its possible to enable or trigger these missions from within the game, but it should be easy to track down the coverdisks and play the missions that way.

I spent a bit of time trying to put together a generic WHDLoad install for the Amiga Format floppy (66B) which is non DOS and requires a disk image slave. No success I'm afraid. I got either an illegal instruction error or an exec.lib error.
