How to use differnt format games on emulator

I got 1 game working on my emulator, but Ive gone and downloaded many other Roms and not one of them work, message is:The floppy disk (image file) in DF0:is not compatible with the system Rom replacement functionality.

What does that mean also when i download from different sites the formatt of the file is different like as is ADF and IHL.
how can I play all games, is there something I need to play around with in the emulator for it to work?

Kickstart ROMS are still copyright. You can't download them legally. You can buy them as part of the Amiga Forever package here. http://www.amigaforever.com/

I say buy a real Amiga!!

Hmmm, I saw your other thread "Need help with Player Manager ROM" saying that you had this working now. If you didn't have Kickstart roms then you would not be able to even get the emulation to start...

Have you tried using the Quickstart A500/A2000?

That's not true. If the ADF contains a custom boot block which takes over the entire system without the need of any AmigaOS component, then WinUAE is able to load and execute it without a Kickstart ROM file. Only if there is no bootable disk in the drive or the boot code tries to access AmigaOS, then WinUAE falls back to the GUI with a message telling that Kickstart replacement does not work with this disk resp. without a disk in the drive.

So my game player manager must have a built in kickstart thing, no wonder none of the other games work, I was thinking why does only 1 game work and the rest dont.
The thing is on Winfellow player manager doesnt work, but on winuae it does work?? whats with that.
Also I know many people love player manager and cant find it, if you want it send me a private message and I will send it to you.

So to play ther other amiga games I must pay and download the kickstart?
So they dont have any free ones? on the net to download?

Nope

All (c) belong to http://www.cloanto.com ...

But have a search on EBay or anywhere else on the net and buy a copy of AMIGA CLASSIX from Magnussoft, it´s very cheap and you get Kick 1.3 and 3.0 (?) on the CD for very little money

1. ADF (Amiga Disk File) not ROM (Read Only Memory)

2. Why don't you read the FAQ for a list of sites. (i.e. Player Manager ADF can be found at Planet Emulation) http://eab.abime.net/faq.php?faq=ami...aq_amiga_games

3. Not a good idea to post email links due to spam bots, so I've edited your post
