Deathbed Vigil

How many of you have seen Haynie's video? I saw it in full last night and in several cases made me feel sad. This video is one of the best I've seen regarding Commodore and it was unbelievable how most employees were hardcore fans of the Commodore products. They were there because they loved it, not because they were just getting paid. They were not there (at the end) because some people who were there for the money, screwed up... Excellent video, a must...

Well, the Amiga Forever 6 has a few videos that are worth having like the presentation of A1000, some Jay Miner videos etc etc. I don't think you'll find it through google. I know that the video is now being sold in DVD through Dave Haynie. I would love to have it in DVD, but I don't mind the data either. In any case it is a video that will make you laugh and cry at the same time.

Yeh, it's a sad video indeed.. I have the DVD myself.

I've always been a great fan of Amiga history and folklore.. I'd have loved to visit west chester as a kid. :-D

I'm getting AF6 in the mail soon and I'm looking forward to watching it!

I did some of the transcription for Cloanto, so have watched deathbed through about 50 times ;-) It is very sad. It looks like C= sorted themselves out in the end with A1200 and CD32 but too late for the banks and not quick enough to undo the years of neglect. Big big shame. Same old story with big companies - too many wankers at the top micromanaging their big salaries and protecting their positions rather than doing stuff that's in the interest of the companies survival. They aways end up taking their jobs with them though ;-)

If I ever get my company off the ground I have some good lessons in how not to do things
