Wanted: PCMCIA
Hi Guys,
Looking for a PCMCIA network card for an Amiga 1200. Prefer a wired card and not WIFI. Thanks, Stephen |

I use a "3COM EtherLink III Parallel Tasking PCMCIA adapter for 10BASE-T and Coax" (just read that off the top of the card).
Works great. And as mentioned, make sure you get one with the RJ-45 cable. Different models have different cables... |

When I was looking for PCMCIA WiFi, I ended up with I think 3 different cards that did fit but I just couldn't get them to work. All specs were supposed to be just right but no. Then I eventually bought one from some Amigastore (don't necessary mean the .EU one, but some) and it was smooth sailing from there on.
So my advice would be to buy from somewhere/someone who really knows the Amiga-stuff and promises it to work. It was years of pain in the *** trying to get things to work. |

The Amiga stores I have used/know of (Amigakit/Amigastore.eu) and even a few in the usa, don't have any listed. |
