maybe just cosmetic issue, also to be seen on the picture of 2.9.0.0 above ( right one ): HD Controller: [UAE ...............] [ghosted dropdown] Sector: ..... is the [ghosted dropdown] intentionally? the [UAE .........] is much more larger than before. edit: i found out myself, after playing with this hd-controller opttions - it is indeed not a cosmetic error Last edited by emufan; 18 August 2014 at 22:54. |

How are you mounting your data files? You need to use real IDE emulation, UAE devices (such as adding folders) need 68k and as you know 4.x disables the 68k side completely. |

Excellent new beta!
Finally PPC emulation is running on my setup and no longer gives me a black screen on boot-up! Seems pretty quick as well. I tested out a couple of PPC demos and they run just fine. Very happy!
EDIT: Just having a play with the PowerPC Test DMS and it seems to register WarpOS as running ok. Although I noticed after the test that the PPC CPU core goes into an endless RUN, SLEEP, RUN, SLEEP looping pattern. Is this normal?? Last edited by Steve; 18 August 2014 at 01:12. |

B12: does not boot from dynamic HDF. B11 works fine. B11 and before: Cyberstorm + A2065 + JIT crashes into HALT3 during DHCP. Works fine without JIT. |

Yes. PowerPC kernel keeps running after it has been started. WarpOS seems to stop the PPC CPU after it becomes idle.

The problem i think was the option "CDFS automount CD/DVD drives" was checked. Now i have managed to boot from floppydisk with accelerator-scsi (cypppc.device) for hdf and cd(-emulation). This works, tests will go on. |

Also the hdf on ide1 had to be mounted in os4.1 using the mounted tool. I've not tried the latest beta though. |

http://aminet.net/dev/misc/sana2_v2.lha Does not crash the internet connection wizard, it just gives an error "failed to open device". I added the driver to the 68k JIT blacklist in OS 4.1 Classic (Prefs/Compatibility) so it is not running in 68k JIT. At least that is better than the two other C= 2065 drivers on aminet: http://aminet.net/search?query=2065 ethernet.lha and a2065v216a.lha, both of which grim reaper the internet connection wizard. I have it setup in WinUAE the 2065 as "cable disconnected". I'm not sure what the SLIRP options are. Last edited by DarrenHD; 18 August 2014 at 17:56. |

Dump files are only useful from official betas, I think your dump is from winuae.zip. (edit: and, JIT enabled. JIT MUST be off)
