I only meant hi-score saving & games with saves already (Monkey Island et al)

Implementing save states of some kind would be a LOOOOOT of work.

a lot of work yes, but we also know it would be one-in-the-eye for the emulator keen-o's.

i'd definately re-register for that!

Wepl implemented something like that, have seen this in Prince of Persia. There are some other games too, but i can't remember them.

PoP already had a save system - does the "multi save" system not just work like the Bloodwych one, and give you more save "slots"?

i havent tried it, so i dont know myself.

Hmm...

Can you specify a save path though? That's what I'd like. Specify a save path, then all saves get stored there. That way I can hold on to my saves FOREVER. FOREVER!

this would also be useful for winuae-kaillera versions of miggy games, as you can only save onto ADF, and not onto the HDF from which you would boot.

honestly, cramming the whdload version of Bloodwych onto ADF and waiting for it to boot in order to play 2player online was NOT fun!

It has nine slots, you can't specify a folder. But maybe Wepl can tell us more about the full features.

This is the one feature now that I'd really want to see.

I missed that and will add it. Thanks for the hint.

This is in work but requires several modifications because I have to merge several directories into one for the PreLoad operation (especially for Examine/ExNext).

So you unpack it and copy everything from the C folder to C folder in workbench after renaming the WHDLoad files in the C folder in workbench..??

Hang on, let me think what I did

I unpacked the archive into its own directory, renamed v16.7 of WHDLoad whdload_old, then copied the new whdload file from the WHDLoad C directory to my own C directory.

Does that make sense?
