The first one is from Individual Computers (Jens Schoenfeld) the second one from Eyetech.

As Eyetech does not exist anymore, it's probably only a remaining stock.

And the first one obviously comes with a back plate while the second one seems to have only the connector which you have to fit yourself somewhere somehow.

One is made by IC and the other is from Eyetech (regular DIN, you need an external DIN>PS/2 adaptor).

And on Aminet you'll find how to make one for yourself using a simple PIC16F627/628.

[EDIT]Damn! Thomas was faster!

So other than the connector used and the lack of a backplate there is no real operating difference except one is nearly £6.50 cheaper?

The Lyra of course is guaranteed to be IndivisionAGA friendly, and still supported by IC.

As has been said, you might have problems fitting the EZKEY-SE alongside an Indivision 1200 AGA

Not thinking of Towering an A1200 are you?

Lets just say after the negative feelings I got about cutting into my A3000D, I've decided to put plan B into action. Leave the A3000D alone and start on my next project... which is A1200 related.

Do the Windows keys on a PC keyboard get mapped as the Amiga keys?

Dont let us affect your decisions. No one liked it when I sprayed my A600 black about 10 years ago... now everone's doing it.

True but I respect the opinions on here. It is still an option but I'm playing it safe (ish) for my next project.
