F12 puts my laptop sleep

Dell Inspiron (win 7 - 64 bit). Very annoying.

Hi, you may need to combine the F12 key with "Fn" then (or some F-Lock key).

You might also be able to switch the default behaviour of the F-keys via BIOS settings...

Some pre-installed keyboard helper utility that gets confused with rawinput mode? (100% guaranteed to be either bios or driver bug)

Include winuaebootlog.txt.

Sounds like your F keys are fn locked.

Could be a setting in your bios to restore them to being F keys.

Thank You!

There is a BIOS setting for the F-keys behavior. Seems now it's OK.
