Hi
All my Harddrive folders i.e WB3.0 WB3.01 etc Have all stopped booting up , all the paths are right for the directories

DH0

DH0

Directory Path

Is there any other setting in Winuae that would stop them booting ?
They have worked no problem for years till the weekend
Thanks in Advance

David

Just noticed all the Classic Workbenches boot up no problem, just the configs I made!
These are booting up as they are hardfiles, its the directories that wont boot

Its looking like some read only problem?
If I alter configs and change anything and save, it is back to original config?

When did it work previously and what has changed since then?

Generally, don't store Amiga files in C:\Program Files.

I have a seperate HD for all Commodore stuff i.e

D:/Commodore/Amiga/

Everything on this drive seems to have gone read only and no matter how many times i try to change attributes it always goes back to read only.
I'm in process of restoring back-up of operating systems the hardfiles boot up Classic etc but none of the selected HD folders

Installed Winuae on wife laptop copied 1 harddrive folder over, all the configs and all kicks, Exactly the same, this this has something to do with my backups on CD being read only, if you uncheck the read only box on properties it goes ahead and scans ,but when you properties again they have gone back to read only, I have looked about and this seem a common problem on windows 7 not being able to remove read only ?

It is wrong log. WinUAE GUI -> Miscellaneous -> tick "Create Log file".

Following file will be created:

Quote:
Log (disabled): 'E:\Commodore\Amiga\Winuae\winuaelog.txt'

Does "D:\Commodore\Amiga\HardDrives\WB3.1 (Utils)" contain AmigaOS installation? Does s/startup-sequence exist?

Funny you should mention that, alot of the file names have changed?
e.g Startup-Sequence#E783
Shell-Startup#949E
Ed-startup#EB09
C:/SetPatch#F6F0
ChangeTaskPri#AF62

This is obviously what stopping the boot , but what on earth has changed all these filenames ? My old Harddrive backup set is working fine , but I wonder what caused my current folder to do this ,need to google it, thanks for you advice Toni!
