Police Quest 3: Points glitch

I'm playing Police Quest 3 (The Kindred), trying to reach the maximum score.

The game states it's possible to get 460 points but I can only achieve a score of 450 points. Having researched the missing 10 points on the internet, it seems that giving the locket to Marie on day 6 is supposed to worth 10 points but the game doesn't give them.

Is it possible to correct a glitch like that?

I wonder if you could call that a glitch at all. You have to consider that despite these OS-independent, SCUMM-readable pack files, the Sierra games MAY be different on various OSes.
I bet that your "internet info" was not specific for the Amiga version and thus may not work on all conversions.
