For Sale: Blizzard PPC (Yes, actually for sale)
As the title says:
This is a: Blizzard PPC with 040 at 25Mhz and PPC at 223MHz. It has the SCSI controller on it and 256MB of RAM (Small chance it may be 192, but I'm 99.99% sure its 256MB) I bought this card from AmigaKit in June 2006 and it's been very reliable. However, it has not been used much in the last 6 months, as I usually use my AmigaOne for newer apps and my A3000 or A4000 to play classic stuff. So I'm gunna let it go to a better home. As much as I would like to keep it from a collectable point of view, I think it would be a good idea to let someone else in the community have it However, it's not gunna go cheap, as I don't really want to get rid of it and I DO need some money... heh There's 2 pics attached... (only have a webcam, sorry) I am asking £350 for it.. I am however open to part-trade,part-cash offerings. Payment can be made either via PayPal, through postal order or cheque (in order of preference) PM me with offers/questions. If this isn't sold by the weekend I'm sticking it on eBay. If you DEFINATELY want it and can pay for it but you need a week or so to gather the cash I can hold it for you (depending on how long). |

£350 for an 040 model?
(Checks prices) I think it's daylight robbery but it appears you might actually get it; a 160MHz 040 version sold for £280 recently a 200MHz 040 version sold for £340!! Last edited by alexh; 01 July 2008 at 19:11. |

I didn't actually base my price on anything in particular... I could do with around £350, so I just put it up for that.
A lot of ppl want it purely for OS4 anyway, so the 040 and speed won't really bother them too much. |

Did you see the 060 one that went for £550 on ebay... people have more money than sense.
I am starting to wonder where all the Amiga enthusiasts get their money from. I've knuckled it down to one of three: a) They are all geeks and thus never had girfriends or wives hence have lots more money. b) They were all smart and into electronics / computers and as such got well paid jobs in the IT industry. c) They are poor but totally nuts and get loans, go without food, sell their kidneys etc. to afford their hobby |

Another One For Sale!!
OK, I am selling one, almost exactly the same as the one which went for £280 above. ie. a PPC@160/040@25 with (almost certainly) dead battery, no scsi, and i don't have the disks for it any more!
the only difference is the amount of RAM - there is 32+8MB on it. i hope to sell it for £270, and I will only be charging £6.40 for postage as per Royal mail prices (or free if you can pick up in Glasgow!) http://www.amibay.com/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=711 |
