The Quartex version of Sleepwalker works fine, only the FLT wasn't correctly cracked.

James Pond 2 (ECS version iirc) The controls got inverted if you copied it. Pressing left on the joystick made the character go right etc.

As Stingray said, FLT, well Bob Duncan buggered it up, a very simple crack as well

The barrel would be missing right at the start of the game, so no, you can't blame any cracks any further for your lack of game playing skill

Oh the joy I had recently of experimenting with this extra check and making the barrel appear out of thin air through hacking while playing.

lol... Never realized copy protection behavior was so good on the Amiga...

How times have changed...... Now its even easier as you can complete the game always.

Are we going backwards or forwards ??

Older versions of WHDLoad itself had an evil copy protection. They Overwrote your startup-sequence if you used a pirated key.

Pinball Fantasies crashed when I reached 1 billion in Partyland. I thought it was a copy protection. I bought the original. It also crashed. I then contacted the company and they send me a replacement disk (version 1.1 or some such). It still crashed at the same point.

Gods not only the game was at the max difficulty level, but enemies with A.I (which appear in level 1-2) have maxed out params: they're super fast and super aggressive. Try it on WinUAE with turbo floppy (so the protection check fails) you'll see the harpies at level 1.2 literally teleporting towards you.

Plus the game crashes on Level 2 (yes, despite all that I could reach level 2)

Formula one grand prix: if badly cracked, the controls were unusable.
