Amos 13 game Adf pack

Hi, between 1996-2001 I programmed freeware games in Amos some of which featured in Amiga Format Magazines Reader Game section. I have recently transferred all my games from my A1200 to PC in Adf format. The complete games pack can be downloaded and a you tube link also from my site http://www.parkproductions.co.uk
Some of the Amiga Format Magazine scans are included.

Thank you, I think Floaty and No Escape were the best from these games. Your Amiga games are in the Zone now to avoid .

Interesting stuff, thanks.

Have any of these games been released before?

Thanks s2325 & Jimbo
@ Graham, 3 or 4 were available from back2roots awhile back, but I thought it would be nice to have them all in one pack. Robcop4 has never been released before because it is hard drive only because of it's size and was the last game I made for the Amiga.

Has anyone tried Paws&Claws? It plays at nice speed on the Amiga, but through WinUAE it is really slow. Perhaps settings or an other emulator would help. Not sure if the game required Fast Ram as I remember some of my games used this on the real Amiga to speed things up. I do remember that the game uses pixel colour detect commands of Amos for platforms/ladders, which can be really slow, maybe the emulator does something different here.

Anyways it was really good to get the Amiga setup again and I spent a few days going through many floppys while I .Adf and .lha all the games before writing them to PC Dos disk on the Amiga itself while getting to grips with good old Workbench again.

It's great to see old AMOS games being re-released. I will download and play the games sometime this week.
I will also upload the game details to the AMOS pages of Amiga Coding sometime in the next couple of weeks, unless you have any objections?

Regards,
Lonewolf10

No objections, just glad to have rescued my games from a mountain of floppys. Let my know if you need additional info or controls etc for the games - there is readme.txt for each game in the .zip file.

You can see my current Amiga setup in this video that I used to transfer and originally programmed all my games on here. [ Show youtube player ]

Oh, when do you get access to The Zone?

No, it's just there to give viewers a clue to when the video was recorded, would be good idea though - play Sensible Soccer with a wireless pad.

Thanks, but it's not my website. There's only 2 people, plus the owner that update the site. I haven't done much to it this year (or last year), but in 2009 I added quite alot to the AMOS games and software pages.

From your video it still seems to be running slower than a real Amiga, was this running through WinUAE? The ladders was tricky to code at the time I remember, what problem do you mean? One tip to get on to the ladder is to hold Up or Down as you run past the base or top respectively, this should work also for when leaving the ladder.

Cool, the two player simultaneously mode in Paws'N'Claws can be good fun too. Also here is a video of me playing my Amstrad after 20 years

Edit:-
As an experiment I ported my Amos game Rattlesnake thats in the download pack from Amiga Amos code to PC Blitz Basic. After loading the Amos code into Blitz Basic on the PC it took only a night to alter the language syntax and convert the Amos sprite.abk to .png files. This port was renamed Hard Streets and is downloadable from the site. Also in Rattlesnake if you press F1/F2 the title screen will flash blue, this will bypass the Amos Wait Vbl command and give the game a little speed up.
