Never heard about this before. But this fanmade trilogy (Return of the Hylian, Oni Link Begins, Time to Triumph) seems awesome. Only found very positive reviews.

Thanks.

downloading Windows version...

Great!

I would be very happy to play another 2D Zelda game on a handheld. I am pretty sure that a good number of other DS owners would enjoy that too.

What is the minimum spec to run this? Porting something to run in 060 only soumds like a little bit o a waste of effort, given the reduced userbase.

Not if the person doing the porting has an 060...

I though Amiga OS 4 was PPC only. not 68k.

Still, sounds like it does need a meaty computer. Blef.

Porting to 060 when it's needed makes sense, there's no point supporting 030 if it's going to run as slow as a dead dog.

I'll have to give this one a whirl, thanks to all involved.

Cool, I compiled these for AROS a while ago, but havent really played them myself.
I assume this is more of an actual port vs. a recompile given that it uses SDL originally, ergo probably too slow on an '060, and needing an rtg card? (by port vs. recompile I mean using amiga native libs, code changes, etc. vs. just recompiling the sources with bare minimum changes needed to get it working)

Has anyone given this a go yet? Does it work on 060 with AGA? I'm a bit swamped with work at the moment but I'd love to give this a try in a few days when things calm down. If it doesn't require RTG that is...

The game still asks for SDL I was expecting/hoping that it makes use of the native AGA chipset »somehow« (readme doesn't mention anything about SDL being required). I wouldn't bother using SDL piffle on a real miggy - even if it runs with a 060@50MHz. Also it needs this horrible AmiTimidity package for MIDI support which is ~38MB in size (unpacked).
All this doesn't look very tempting to me.
