Thanks for the screenshots - particle man has been added to the latest top ten arcade game section - I will use the polymorf one when I do the top ten puzzle game page which might be next or follow on after shoot ems.

In terms of my amiga background - I got my first Amiga as a teenager and was a frustrated game designer. I entered the Amiga Power design a game competition and was a runner up winning a copy of AMOS- I tried to implement the game using SEUCK as I was too lazy at the time to learn AMOS - The game was called Blob - which isn't great but I was only 16 when I made. I then made a few more SEUCK games which I sent to pd libraries and got various PD games back in exchange -Fast forward a few years I got a CD32 as I was interested in retro gaming - I booted up an Assassins PD compliation cd and was surprised to see one of my SEUCK games. I then started searching for the others out of nostalgia and found that it was really difficult to find PD games disk images - I then started getting PD Cd disks such as 17 Bit and United PD and got hooked on re-playing the old games I used to play as a teenager.

I have thoroughly enjoyed creating the website so far as various great games have been recommended to me. Originally I thought I would struggle to get a top 20 games list, but soon it became a top 50 and I am confident that a top 100 is possible without having any stinkers.

Thanks again to everyone for helping with suggestions and recommendations.

Interesting to read about your Amiga background - no wonder you have such fond memories of and affection for Amiga PD games - having had first hand experience of creating them!

Just a quick update - now have 4 top ten pages -

Top Ten Platform vote page (also contains lots of screen images)
Top Ten 2 Player vote page
Top Ten Arcade games vote page
Top Ten Shoot em up vote page

Page includes some screen shots for the games - I will now be spending the next few days searching for disk images to upload for the games listed on these pages - then I will move on to some other game genres. If anyone has any screen shots for the games mentioned but not currently showing on the slideshows that would be brilliant.

Thanks for the pics - I have used some already on the site - I have added a SEUCK game top ten - not sure if they will feature in the top 100 - the Smash TV crept in by mistake - wasn't there another Smash TV public domain game - Stuart Campbell reviewed it in Amiga Power - I think it was called Smash TV rip off - Until I find that game I will keep the other tribute in there -

The next top tens will be one from
8 Bit remakes -
Puzzle Games -
Adventure Games -
RPG/Strategy.

Thanks to everyone who has voted on the different genres so far - it is interesting to see that some games are clear favourites.

Just been watching "Doody" - you have put "Doodgy" on video home page.
This was a good little game!

The video section is a great idea... the site is really coming along and looks great!

Thanks - I ve changed that page now to link to the different categories - I think that makes more sense from a navigation point of view.
