Capital Punishment

Did/Does anyone play Capital Punishment at all?

I remember getting it on a demo cd once and thought it looked awsome. My amiga could never run it though but i am getting a nice new amiga very soon and wondering if it worth finding a copy.

I am a big 2d fighter fan. I even liked Mortal Kombat on the amiga

Are there any others i should look up? I have streetfighter2, MK, and Body Blows Galactic which does kinda blow

Get Shadow Fighter. IMO, the best beat'em up availble for the Miggy.

Fightin' Spirit is rather good too, though it looks and play a LOT like the Fatal Fury games on Neo-Geo. If you like Fatal Fury, take a look at this . But IMO, the gameplay is not as good as in Shadow Fighter.

Elfmania deserves a look too, at least for their beautiful graphics.

Thanks for that.

I think i used to have a demo of shadow fighter somewhere. I'll give that a crack.

I do like the Fatal Fury games, is there anything like the samurai showdown's?

What exactly was wrong with capital punishment? I noticed on click booms site i think there was only about 5 fighters on the warriors page?

Agreed, it's not much better than Rise of the Robots

Stick out tongue

Capital Punishment is one of Akira's fave beat-em-up's, never shuts up about it..just ask him!!

(Ducks for cover when Akira returns with broadband connection to respond!!:eek )

Thought Final Fight was passable on the Amiga, though no where near as good as the arcade game.

Check out this thread for plenty of Miggy fighting games, very good discussion thread....

Hmmm. So some people do actually like Capital Punishment.

I just liked the idea of being able to kill people at any time with the traps.

Does anyone know of anywhere to get Capital Punishment and Napalm in Australia? Do i have to send to the UK?

I don't like CP. Very buggy, limited movement, poor play. MK is the best !!!

Amiga Power said of Dangerous Streets:

Quote:
The leading name game on the new CD32 pack, but it could single-handedly destroy any credibility that the machine may have built up. Stunningly poor gameplay, stunningly poor graphics and stunningly poor sound. Alternative recommendations for use of the CD that the game comes supplied on are; burning, scratching, hammering and breaking. 1/5*
