Worms Directors Cut - Team Colours

Hi,

I finally persuaded my better half to play worms the other night but found that both of our teams were the same colour which kind of makes things difficult. I seem to remember that older versions of worms had this issue, can I make some kind of config change so we can easily tell which ones to kill?

Thanks

I recently noticed this as well. I went to play and all the worms names were white - I'm sure when I last played the original on PC 8/9 years ago they were fairly distinguishable (could just be my memory) Looking forward to the solution for this

perhaps some whdload installer coder could fix this? . Worms DC really is a great game, it's a shame the network patch never was finished.

Yep I seem to remember that older versions had this problem and it wasn't until the PS1 port that you had distinct team colours.

Should be very easy to 'fx' by the talented WHDLOAD guys.

Send a message via ICQ to lilalurl
Meanwhile, you could use a temporary fix by adding special characters at the beginning of the name of every worm of the same team. E.g. : '***death' or '$$$death', instead of simply 'death'.

Or you can just remember what your worms are actually named

Yeah just create your own teams with a theme. I used to have football teams but now have pop groups. Im controlling take that.

Here are some other suggestions.
Actors(British, American, World, Women, Child)
Animals(Cats, Dogs, Insects, Fish)
Countries with famous people from them

Or give them names of EAB members
I would say that the method lilalurl suggested is the easiest to spot for everyone

Yeah, if you look at the CPU teams, member names are variations of the theme name (dogs, famous persons...)

My bro and I always go with a theme, like all our worms starting with the same letter as our first names, or such. <Yourname>1 through 4 is also possible.
