It's offtopic but I want to comment about a Youtube channel. She doesn't make streamings but just nice videos. Not only about Amiga but also about retro hardware. This is an amazing Youtube channel made with a lot of talent that you aren't allowed to miss:

Akira I guess you will also like Maddi's compositions

You can also check her music in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/msmad-lemon

Thanks. But the thing is, since I put a lot of effort in every stream, when your viewcount is low, it doesn't really give you the will to bother as often.

Retrofan: Yes I know Ms Lemon, she has nice videos and could well do some live streaming at some point.

What I was getting at is, that it feels like nowadays, unless you are shouting your mouth off on ten different "social" media platforms and being kind of a spammer shithead, you have a hard time driving people to see what you do.

People are used to get content served "to their mouths" in timelines and other mechanisms corporations like Twitter or Facebook use to monetize.
Remember the early days of the World Wide Web, when people "web surfed"? They don't do that anymore. People normally don't go look out for stuff, they rather wait for it to land on their virtual lap. It's sad.

BUT ENOUGH OF ME AND MY OLD MAN RANTS! Back to streaming.

Subscribe to/follow the people that do stuff you like!

fake fangroups, bought clicks, fake comments on different platforms - not everyone's cup of tea,
but I think thats the way to become a asocial star these days. :/

I'll try to follow. or will generate a click, when watching the recorded session

I appreciate it, but don't get me wrong, I don't crave attention, rather, I'd love for people that might be interested in what I do to actually find it, and enjoy it.

I'm suscribed to about 20 youtube channels and I can't follow all of them, so I try to not suscribe to new ones. Anyway, very nice videos you make, Akira. I liked the music.

Edit: About live streamings, "Juanje juega" makes several ones about different retro platforms. This for example for Amiga games:

It's in spanish though.

Hi all,

We have been streaming for over a year now on real hardware (currently a CD32 running WHDLoad).

I started to watch AmigaBill a good few months ago as I saw his Facebook posts on the Amiga Computer group... and recently was recommened TerribleFire (the TF328 is now in my CD32) by Stephen Jones who is the old iMica/Checkmate 1500 man (I re-designed a logo that was then printed on the iMica machine for him and a boot logo for the software gfx driver a while back).
Funnily enough I have never been interested in TV unless it's something I've recorded to go to sleep to - Wheeler Dealers, Overhaulin... or anything car related.
Hence discovering Twitch a year or so back and now tune in to my favourite streamers when I can.

We were known as the 'ooBumbleBeeoo Stream' but decided the other week I need to re-brand as it meant nothing. It was me playing with video and editing software last year (BumbleBee was the nickname my Father used to call me) and it has got to this scale now. It seems crazy!
We are now 'Riot Retro Gaming'.

We do not ask for money, we do it because we love it and like talking to new people and bringing back fond memories.

If you'd like to join or come and talk with us, then we'd love that.
Born and still breeding Commodore amongst others

I sometimes do small projects, but on the rarity as time is an issue.
We did have an iTunes podcast, but that was canned because of the same thing.

Be aware however, we aren't like your usual streamers.
We are three Friends who meet after work - if you do not like the friend/banter side of things then this isn't for you.
We're told it's quite funny however... hence the 'riot' we came up with in the title.

Akira, I didn't know you was into all this!
Just left a comment on your Youtube page.
It'd be awesome to all meet at some point.

Am I welcome?! Can I share the fact I'll be livestreaming this Sunday at 6pm (GMT)?!
I'm doing them every 2wks, I've done 5 so far including a 5hr stream that happened on new years eve,...this ep also shows many of my original boxed games up for sale so take a look as you may see something you like, EP.3 is an Amiga edition including a speedrun of Barbarian II - Dungeon Of Drax, in fact here are all the livestream eps so far:
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...iljKl4SinzYmrO

Also Snoopy my Lab Dog makes appearences as a few viewers always want to see him :-)
This Sunday I will be trying to beat my World speedrun record on Bruce Lee on the Spectrum including a "guess that retro game tune" section which is very popular AND a longplay of the brill PC / ZX Spectrum game Project ZX where sir Clive has sent many spectrum sprites to try to kill me.
Everyone welcome as always, bring a coffee or a beer and join in the amusement :-D

I've got a channel I have just been starting over the last month or so, and I am going to be trying to do at least a couple of live streams a week. So far the only person that has actually interacted on a livestream is Guru Larry Bundy Jr, who I ended up chatting to for a couple of hours about Watford instead of playing Mega lo Mania.

Anyway, my videos are generally so laid back they are laid out, and good for inducing sleep. I actually nearly fell asleep myself while doing a stream on Colonization. I have done a few videos just looking through coverdisks, and I review other gadgets and devices as well:

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYvciXRN4w-KjRSumDDDEhw

Also, I think if you subscribe to a channel and click the little bell, then you should get alerts on your mobile devices when someone is streaming. I think it is worth doing to build the community, as I believe that it makes a difference to search rankings when subscribers react to those notifications.

I'm planning on doing a live music stream this Friday night at 8PM GMT. Will be playing a mix of game, demo and crack music for an hour:

https://amigarama.com/radio-stream/

First time doing this but looking forward to it!
