I don't know either where to see/search for an improvement on AGA. Using BB2 I've just copied the library to libs, added the loadmodule to the s-s, rebooted, and Birdie keeps working perfectly.

Layers V45 allows system friendly iconification/hiding of any window. WinZoom 1.1 is going to support this; just a few more lines of code to do.

Not everyone likes Magellan.
I also don't know, how Magellan manages to iconify windows it doesn't own or windows on different screens. Edit: layers V45 also allows drawing into ANY window / updating it while it's hidden Last edited by bubbob42; 06 June 2014 at 19:29. |

That's odd, perhaps it is something specific to my setup. The email address for the Birdie coder is bouncing. Does anyone have another method of reaching him?

What problem have you got with Birdie? If that's just it doesn't start, try calling it later on the s-s. I believe I've got also a wait 1 after it.
Edit: BTW Yesterday I installed CWB39v28, installed your BB3&4 and it tells now C:Makelink function is not implemented. |

Using the s-s provided with BB3&4 gave me the same error. |

Do you think something from the bb4 could be causing problems with mui 3.9 ?
http://muidev.de/downloads/ I get "line 1111 emulator error" guru when I try to launch mui. |

V1.0a is released, it includes layers.library.
>Do you think something from the bb4 could be causing problems with mui 3.9 ? No, it is working here... Last edited by Minuous; 09 June 2014 at 13:19. |

It doesn't work for me as well. Black screen when I use MUI Prefs or I open any MUI application
I even replaced my custom kickstart with a stock 3.1 one and still same issues. Some patch might have some issue with it, but I need to troubleshoot to find out... |

Yes, it's extrange. I can install on CWB39v28 the new MUI 3.9, but if I install BB4 (I've got to disable the C:Makelink command on the s-s), it hangs when opening for example IBrowse that uses MUI. Edit: It surely was because then I had CyberbugFix disabled.
Edit: The part of the S-S with the Makelink should be like this to work: Code:
C:Version >NIL: C:MakeLink 37 4 FILE IF NOT WARN C:Copy >NIL: ENVARC:SYS/def_RAM.info RAM:Disk.info CLONE QUIET ELSE C:MakeLink >NIL: RAM:Disk.info ENVARC:SYS/def_RAM.info SOFT ENDIF Last edited by Retrofan; 10 July 2014 at 02:01. |

And please do restrain yourself from commenting on situations that you have limited knowledge of. News channels don't show the whole picture these days and can present the same news from different points of view and neither may be true. |

Edit: It's late to try it and I've just seen this http://aminet.net/package/util/cdity/WinZoom.lha, but it's the previous version. Last edited by Retrofan; 10 July 2014 at 02:08. |

That statement was just a clarification. The whole point was to depoliticize BB4, ie. to clearly separate between actions of Russian government vs. support for Russian locale; to more generally establish the principle that locale support is independent of actions of various governments. I don't want to be associated with nor condone any government policies. Which is what I said originally.
Similarly, a program supporting eg. FAT filesystem or Mac line breaks does not imply support for policies of Microsoft, Apple, etc. |

It was certainly an unneeded comment on a readme. |

It was indeed needed, I don't want to be associated with those actions and policies, if I ignored it this might be taken as an endorsement. That statement makes it clear and thus I can continue to work on the project, otherwise I'm afraid I would be compelled to discontinue the work for moral reasons, not wanting to be associated with that.

Just remove that comment from readme, it doesn't belong in the Boing Bags IMO. Everyone can draw their own conclusions about the situation regarding that war.
ps. I dont' have a problem with it personally.... Last edited by Bamiga2002; 10 July 2014 at 13:56. |
