Question Possible bug, and potential Disk Swapper improvement

Hi all.

The latest version of WinUAE is absolutely spectacular. Fantastic work Toni.
The only problem I've found so far is that when you choose a config and double-click it (on the configurations tab), the Amiga appears to run, but sometimes does not boot. A reset from the F12 menu is required for it to "boot" and recognise a disk in the drive.

Anyway - quick question about the disk swapper - are there any hotkeys associated with changing which disk is in DF0, DF1 etc?
Its a fabulous feature that makes multi-disk games much better, but it would be awesome if we didn't have to grab the mouse each time a disk change is required...

For example, (assuming that F12 will take us straight to the disk swapper screen as it was the last settings screen accessed) is it possible to have some hotkeys like this?
Alt+1 drops down the enabled drives for whatever disk image is in slot 1,
Alt+2 drops down the enabled drives for slot 2,
Alt+0 drops down for slot 10,
Shift+1 drops down slot 11,
Shift+2 drops down slot 12,
Shift+0 drops down slot 20.
etc...

The cursor is then automatically placed into the dropdown and arrows up/down can be used to select DFx. OR EVEN BETTER perhaps once a dropdown is... erm... dropped down, simply hitting 0, 1, 2, 3 will set that slot's drive (but only allow choices from enabled drives, so if DF3 is disabled, don't offer it as a choice).

I hope that makes sense.

Does this sounds like a good idea?

Regardless, thanks for your amazing work Toni.

Disk swapper improvement: after filesystem-fix 0.9.91 is out.
Boot problem: haven't noticed. Do you see anything special in log?

Here's a winuaebootlog.txt containing some strange stuff at the end...

load config 'E:\emulation\amiga\Amiga Forever\Emulation\WinUAE\Configurations\default.uae':0
load failed
failed to load config 'E:\emulation\amiga\Amiga Forever\Emulation\WinUAE\Configurations\default.uae'

This is understandable, as for some reason I don't have a "default.uae" config.

unknown config entry: 'kickstart_key_file=E:\emulation\amiga\Amiga Forever\Emulation\shared\rom\rom.key'
load config 'E:\emulation\amiga\Amiga Forever\Emulation\WinUAE\Configurations\harlequin.uae':0
unknown config entry: 'kickstart_key_file=E:\emulation\amiga\Amiga Forever\Emulation\shared\rom\rom.key'

This is confusing, as I do have a rom.key file in the specified path.

harlequin.uae is a config I have created that uses the a500.uae supplied by WinUAE, but slightly modified to contain Harlequin (by gremlin graphics) in disk swapper slots 1 & 2 (for disks 1 & 2 respectively).

What is interesting is that after double-clicking harlequin.uae in the configs tab, the Amiga "boots" but does not attempt to read df0:.
However, if I then press f12 and click Reset, the Amiga reboots and the game loads correctly, even though nothing else has changed.

By the way, that's brilliant news that you're taking the disk swapper improvement on board. Thanks!!!

Neither do I.
For all that, I don't like the "failed" here so much.
I prefer "Looking for default.uae - none found".

'failed' rather means that some important thing has not worked out fine.
But if default.uae is missing, emulation will work fine anyhow.
