CyberStorm PPC doesn’t work
Hello everybody.
I’ve a big trouble; my CyberStorm PPC doesn’t work anymore. When I power up the computer the screen remains dark with no computer activity. I be tried to change the memory and the 68060 CPU but nothing occurs. Using a 3640 everything works fine, but it’s not the same and of course no PPC support. Does anyone an idea about where can I send it for repair? Thank you in advance. |

Best place would be amigacenter in France, he doesn't charge you anything for testing it and his service is great!
http://www.amigacenter.com/ Just email him first and tell him you are sending your card. |

Just checking, have you tried turning the Amiga on, waiting for 5 seconds then reset? I had that problem but I also had a dry joint problem which I repaired, I would not advise it as you need an SMD soldering iron and a very steady hand

I did a lot of checks before ask for help. Finally I’ll send the hardware to Amigacenter for repair. I sent an email yesterday and the feeling was very good, will see the results. Again thank you very much. |

Hope JJ can fix it, I doubt he can repair it if the PPC socket is kaputt...he couldn't fix a DCE CS PPC board I sent to him but he fixed the '060 side so now I have a CS PPC which can be used as if it was a CS MKIII
