I bought that this morning!
It's pretty rough at present but I made a thread in the discussions about improvements and a bug report or two |

Haha, yeah, that's where I saw it on Steam.
Here's hoping the authors will listen and deliver. |

I tried the ADF's but they kept crashing on me (WinUAE A500 quickstart kick 1.3 512/512 with 1 floppy drive)

1-5 select the drugs you use. Don't forget to search people you killed for drugs and ammo for your guns. I never actually got the ADFs working at all - I played the WHDLoad version of it which worked fine. |

This game was never too good to begin with, I found it unforgivingly unplayable I wanted to like it, it has some fantastic elements to it, but the gameplay is just garbage.
Is this remake any better?? |

the only real downside to the amiga version was the controls, thankfully they are improved in the remake thanks to proper mouse aiming.

Really not my cup of tea, but it's available at the $2.50-tier over at https://groupees.com/remute16 together with C64 Forever 2016 Plus Edition and some other random stuff

That gameplay video didn't give a whole lot away, other than the fact it's actually quite similar to the original in terms of design. Now I'm with Akira in his assessment of the original, nice idea, but flawed execution, especially the aiming mechanic, made for poor gameplay.
Now twin stick controllers are the norm I imagine they can easily tackle what was easily the biggest gameplay issue with the original. But my question is will they actually make use of the right stick for aiming? Or are they going with the original broken up/down to aim? |
