Damn! I love that intro. Done pretty well for it's time.

I'm humming the music at this very second.

Well I impress even myself sometimes

Anyway I have added Captive II - Liberation CD32 to the list and it is 100%

Well I cheated, I already had the 1200 ver done, so I simply took the CD track with the voices/sound for the intro, added 31 secs of silence to the beginning and erm Voilla it is perfectly sync'd with the 1200 intro

So when the DVD is availabale you can select the soundtrack for Liberation 1200 OR CD32

Man am I cool

Out of my list if I had to choose the best intro it would be Alien Breed Tower Assault CD32 by a mile. This intro simply must be included on your DVD. It's really awesome. The best bits of that 7 minute long intro are snippets of absolutely horrendous acting by the Team17 developers. Notably Mr Marcus Dyson gets the award for worst acting ever in a game intro. It's hilarious!

Very close second is the Microcosm intro which is also very impressive.

Are you trying the ADF version or CD32? Cos I've just spent the last 50 minutes playing the CD32 version (on the latest release of WinUAE) with no problems. Well the intro is a little jerky with broken sound but that's because I have a fairly slow computer. Here is my CD32 config if you want to give it a try.

Okay I have it working but.... (There's always a but isn't there!!)

Anyway basically the intro is FAR too jerky to watch, but it isn't a fault of WinUAE, It's the CD or ISO that is at fault. I have tried both actual CD and mounted image, and both result in jerky animation

So my question is:

Is there a decent CDXL viewer for Amiga or is there a CDXL viewer for PC?

Jittery CDXL-animations are emulation problem and there is no fix or workaround available yet.

This is why I wondered if there was a player/converter for the pc?

any requests for MPG's off aminet will also be included (If possible!)

Also I have re-encoded State Of The Art at Toni's request and upped the bitrate as the was some tearing and blockiness, it was about 60Mb now its a good 150Mb but looks much better

RIght I have created a sample of the Menu's that I will hopefully be adopting (After some alteration and improvements)

I have put this menu on my webspace for download and testing purposes of you guys..

There are a few things to note though!

* This menu is the the first attempt at this for me, so I am not 100% certain on creation etc.. so forgive anything that may look behave crap!

* There are NO intros etc on here!!!

* The GFX menu's etc are stand-ins for now (Well until I get the real ones in place.. and they need creating first ) so don't slag the menu's off too much!

* The only Game that has actually got its featues partially implemented is Superfrog, so go and look at that!

* I hope to also include music for each games sub-menu (So Superfrog will have that recognisable jingle)

* Any suggestions/ideas/improvements/criticisms can be made here!!

anyway to run this you'll need a program that will let you run DVD files from a HD (Like PowerDVD)

Bippys DVD Test menu v0.1

oh and it is about a 3Mb download

Nice work BibbyM

Some of the small screen shots are hard to see (could use small text to say what they are) and I dont like how the image changes to purple. An > next to the menu image may be better. Or you could use a logo image (i.e. ks1.3 the hand).

I like the Superfrog part
