End tune from Plexu
here's a strange one..I was playing this the other day and finished it..and to my amazement it featured a tune by Allister Brimble at the end of the game and for love and money I can't find the tune..it's in the credit roll and is a very nice piece of music. I can't even find the souce music file for deli-player to export it as a wav
http://hol.abime.net/5218 has anyone got a rip to this as it's not up on Exotica any help would be wonderful |

it's pretty poor compared to what was good in the day..Newline software created it, probably before all the guy who wrote it went to a better software houses, but the music was great especially the end credits..sorta sounded like Sting's "I'll be watching you" tune and is why I'm looking for the music itself.

woaw, what is this format ?!?
some PTK notes can be recognized but yet, it's clearly not that. Maybe a hacked version of Soundmonitor ? Title and ingame musics are easy enough to fetch, but this one .. *geee* OK, disk is trackloaded, and contains 8 "exe" probably fakely tagged as Tetrapack (couldn't identify the packer). The end part is the 7th one, which can be run alone (A500). I've attached said part here, but obviously, it's not intented to the people who actually want to play this game . I'm also interrested to know the exe packer, as well, as the zik format, if it is known at all. Sylvain |

this is a great attempt as it's the main music and sub tune, but alas is not the music I'm after but I thank you for your time and efforts cheers Mai
@Asle, so you reckon it's hard-coded into the code of the game it's self..I know the music is written by Allister Brimble as his name is in the credit for it at the end..guess I will have to a hard copy rip of this tune.. but again thanx for the speedy reply and if anyone can crack this nuts..you have my gratitude |

Packer is standard Tetrapacker, decruncher has been slightly modified (moveq #0,d7 replaced with nop; lea $dff180,a5 -> lea $dff1a0,a5) though. I might check the music routine tomorrow at work.

Arrived at work and had a look, I have no idea what kind of music format it is, can't remember that I ever saw that play routine before. Tune sounds quite a bit like Ron Klaren but the play routine is completely different. Anyway, I relocated the tune and coded a custom player for it so you can play it in DeliTracker/Eagleplayer. Player and source attached.

Thanks too for creating a custom module.
Honestly, i was not aware, that there exists an unripped/unknown endtune. I have added this music to the list of unripped gametunes (fortunately now ripped). |
